The BuZZ Show and Podcast for December 28

This week’s episode of Creative
Planet’s Digital Production BuZZ
– the world’s only talk radio for
Digital Production, Post Production and Distribution – is full of great
information and entertainment, as usual.

Instead of
our regular guest the first segment of the show will look back on the
news of 2006: in case you missed it.

After the first break we’ll continue with our 2006 retrospective
talking about the guests we’ve had on the show this year and who’s been
having the best year ever!

In our second interview we’ll be talking with Jemima Harrison, the
Producer and Co-Director of the documentary “The
Family that Walks on All Fours
“, that was featured on Nova earlier
this year.

And finally, in our “BuZZ in Depth” segment this week we’ll be
talking about what to expect in 2007.

The BuZZ Show and Podcast for December 7th

This week’s episode of Creative
Planet’s Digital Production BuZZ
– the world’s only talk radio for
Digital Production, Post Production and Distribution – is full of great
information and entertainment, as usual.

Our first guest is Sean Varah, CEO and founder of MotionDSP.
MotionDSP’s video processing technology can take poor quality video –
even that from a cell phone – and dramatically enhance it using a
proprietary algorithm originally developed for military purposes.
Blowing up that number plate from 4 pixels to readable isn’t so far off
in the future after all.

After our popular Pick our Brains segment we’ll talking with our
second
guest, Christian Einfeld, founder and director of “The
Digital Tipping
Point
” project. The Digital Tipping Point is a personal project of
Christians that attempts to apply the co-operative principles of Open
Source Software to filmmaking and documents his journey through the
technology of filmmaking.

And finally, in our “BuZZ in Depth” segment this week we’ll be
disclosing some extra features Apple slipped into Final Cut
Pro 5.1.2 that suggest a future direction for 3rd party extensions, and
discussing Apple’s purchase this week of Proximity.
