Digital Production BuZZ Launches Innovative Way to Help a Job Find You

Agoura Hills, California – The Digital Production BuZZ, one of the world’s first and most successful interactive internet talk radio shows, featuring news and information on digital video production, post-production and distribution, announced The BuZZ Shout-Out! This new service lets everyone in film, video, or audio production or post-production reach a highly targeted market by creating a compelling, 30-second audio Shout-Out! that promotes their services at no cost to them.

Editors, directors, producers, set designers, or anyone else directly involved with production or post-production can create a 30-second audio Shout-Out! describing their services and letting prospective employers know what they can do. The Digital Production BuZZ, which reaches tens of thousands of listeners a month around the world (over 30% of the BuZZ audience is outside the U.S.) will run these Shout-Outs! each week on its internet radio show starting Nov. 4.

To increase the audience for these Shout-Outs!, they will also be included on the Digital Production BuZZ Shout-Out! Web site, highlighted in The Buzz Twitter and FaceBook accounts, and in the weekly Digital Production BuZZ newsletter; plus other marketing opportunities provided by our sponsors.

“There were many times in my life when I needed to find a job,” said Larry Jordan, Executive Producer and Host of the Digital Production Buzz, “And it always struck me as strange that we ask someone without a job to pay for the privilege of finding a job. These are difficult times in our industry. We want to help the folks who need help to get work. We are very grateful to our sponsors for making this possible.”

“Thanks to the support of some very far-sighted sponsors, we are changing the rules,” said Laura Peters, marketing director for Larry Jordan & Associates. “Our industry contains enormously creative, and gifted story-tellers. We want to give them a place where they can showcase their skills to find a job. What we are looking for are creative, compelling, 30-second stories about why someone should hire you.”
