Lydia Cornell won the People’s Choice Award for her role as Sarah Rush on ABC’s “Too Close for Comfort” in 1980 and has worked non-stop ever since. Her professional career extends beyond acting into theater, film, and television. She is also just about finished with her new novel. We first met on our Oct. 27 show and were so impressed we invited her back to talk about what it takes to succeed in Hollywood, tips for producers/directors on how to work with actors and, above all, the importance of being true to your creativity.

We want to learn more about how the process of digital intermediates works and whether this is a technique that can benefit the independent filmmaker.

The first film of Adrian Belic and his brother, Roko, created just after college, was the Academy Award-nominated “Genghis Blues.” His follow up film is the multi-award winning “Beyond the Call.” How does he market his product and what advice can he give to the rest of us about survival in the intensely competitive world of independent films. Filmmaker Mike Timm has some good news for us! His film, “A Girl, A Guy, A Space Helmet” premiered recently at the Maryville Film Festival and was the recipient of Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Production Design and Best Cast Ensemble awards! So we guess he’s doing something right! We talk with both Adrian and Mike about how they are marketing their films and where the money is for filmmakers today.

Darren Millar, General Manager, Video Symphony, recently joined one of the largest training schools for filmmakers to help create programs geared for filmmakers today. He joins us to discuss the role of Video Symphony in helping filmmakers jump-start their career.
