Great New Interviews! Join Larry Jordan and Michael Horton as they talk with:
Jacob Rosenberg, Chief Technical Officer, Bandito Brothers
Bandito Brothers is a production company that specializes in action/adventure films. Recently, they dominated the box office with “Act of Valor,” based on the real-life adventures of Navy SEALs. Tonight, we talk with Jacob Rosenberg, Chief Technical Officer at Bandito Brothers about how they put the film together. (Think TERABYTES of Canon Mark 5D footage, 35 mm film, HDCAM tape and a TON of media management.) This is an interview you don’t want to miss!
Elena Miliaresis, Filmmaker, “While Time Stands Still”
We first talked with fiilmmaker Elena Miliaresis about a year ago, when she was in the middle of shooting her documentary on military families with family members deployed overseas: ”While Time Stands Still.” Now, the film is almost out of post, and we wanted to find out how she’s planning on marketing it.
Sean Safreed, Co-Owner/Director of Product Management, Red Giant
Red Giant is making a transition from being solely a plug-in software developer into creating creative communities. Sean Safreed is the Director of Product Management at Red Giant and is traveling to SXSW in Austin, Texas, next week to talk about video production using the iPhone. We want to ask: “WHY??”
Jan Crittenden-Livingston Product Line Business Manager, Panasonic
Panasonic has once again hosted its annual “Shoot It. Share It” contest and this year, they featured the AG-AF100 large imager camera. Jan Crittenden-Livingston is Panasonic Broadcast’s Product Line Business Manager for the company’s growing line of AVCCAM camcorders. She is also a regular guest on The Buzz, keeping us informed on the latest in Panasonic technology. This time, however, she wants to highlight some of the outstanding filmmakers that participated in this year’s event.
Michael Daoud, Co-founder, XShot LLC
Like all great ideas, it started on vacation. Michael Daoud was trying to take a photo with his iPhone – and realized he couldn’t. From that initial frustration, Michael founded XShot and a whole new line of photo accessories for the iPhone was born. He joins us tonight to explain what they are and how they work.
You can’t find people or interviews like this anywhere else — it’s another fascinating show!
