ATTO Technology Announces 10Gb Ethernet Adapters Aggressively Tuned for Big Data in Streaming Media

ATTO FastFrame is an easy-to-understand, comprehensive portfolio of products designed for flexibility and engineered for performance. Quad-, dual-, and single-port Converged Network Adapters and SFP+ Network Interface Cards all include high-quality SFPs, and may also be used with Direct Attach Copper cabling. Single- and dual-port 10GBASE-T cards are built on the industry’s first single-chip, low-power 10GBASE-T controller by Intel. All FastFrame adapters include iSCSI support at no additional cost, and all have drivers for Windows servers and workstations, multiple Linux distributions, and Mac OS X.

FastFrame enables connectivity solutions ranging from high-performance access to file servers, through connection to industry-leading NAS systems, to switched fully-converged FCoE topologies, without expensive upgrades, add-ons, or hidden costs. NICs are backward compatible (via auto-negotiation) for phased upgrade to 10Gb Ethernet. CNAs, built with ATTO’s industry—leading Fibre Channel stack, simultaneously support TCP/IP, iSCSI, and FCoE, which may be configured per-port. Data Center Bridging (DCB) provides traffic prioritization — required for high quality of service for iSCSI, and for running FCoE converged SANs.

    • ATTO engineers FastFrame network adapters for low power consumption (1/3 lower than competitors) as well as stable, near-line-speed data rates across a wide range of file sizes for predictable network performance
    • FastFrame CNAs feature ATTO’s Advanced Data Streaming (ADS), which manages latency by providing controlled acceleration for consistent high performance
    • Tier1 partnerships reduce qualification time for system builders
    • If you have a question or an issue, with ATTO you can expect an understanding, detailed answer and competent assistance
