Cory TrÈpanier - Artist/Director "Into the ARCTIC Project"

Janet & Cory Trepanier live in the hills of Caledon northwest of Toronto. Their love for the outdoors is shared with a wide audience through the filming of their adventuresome experiences in the wild, creating a greater awareness of our important diminishing environments. Cory brings an artist eye to his filmwork, as he share his vision extensively with his oil on linen paintings.

The Into the ARCTIC Project that will see the TrÈpaniers travel extensively in the arctic over 3 years. This concentrated effort to explore and paint from west to east, and south to north, exploring the wide scope of the arctic experience is truly unique. By interacting so closely with his environment, Cory's canvases will be infused with a genuineness that will bring viewers closer to this land.

Campside Productions is producing a high definition documentary chronicling the Arctic expeditions that is being produced for broadcast and DVD release.

The first leg of the journey is complete and we'll talk with Cory about "learning as I go" producing an HD documentary for broadcast and DVD without a traditional production background.
