What's the BuZZ?

Steve Cone - Author, Powerlines: Words that Sell Brands

Quick, no thinking! What's the tagline Coke is using at the end of all its commercials? Nope, that isn't it. Steve Cone is the author of Powerlines: Words That Sell Brands, Grip Fans, and Sometimes Change History. He joins us for a captivating discussion of branding and marketing your company, with lots of examples of spectacular failures. Even if you're a small business, you can learn from the mistakes big companies spent millions of dollars making.

The BuZZ Beat

Distribution BuZZ - Stacey Parks - CEO Film Specific Inc.

The only reason we managed to get Stacey Parks, CEO of Film Specific, Inc. out of an airplane and onto the phone is because its Thanksgiving. She joins us with another fascinating discussion of what's happening in the world of distribution.

Luigi Tramontana - Founder and Head of R&D, Craft Animations

In the beginning, there was cell animation, where each picture was drawn individually and by hand. Then came keyframe animation, where a shape was animated using keyframes. This was faster, but still took forever and two days to render. Now, there is simulation-based animation, where you can create and view your animation is real-time. And no one does it better, or more economically, than Craft Animations. Founder Luigi Tramontana joins us from Gothenberg, Sweden, to discuss the current state of animation and where we are headed in the future.
