What's the BuZZ?
T. Lee Beideck - Writer/Director/Editor, Sophomore Movie
"Sophomore" is a high school adventure comedy (think "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" meets "Stand By Me") starring Patrick Warburton and Amanda Plummer. It was filmed and financed in Rochester, NY, in a vacated Kodak facility. Currently in post production (editing on Adobe Premiere) the trailer can be seen here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=D4oRT2e4B7w. This week, we talk with writer/director/editor T. Lee Beideck about how he created a "true Indie film."
The BuZZ Beat
Nicholas Pearce-Tomenius, Co-founder, MatrixStore

Nick Pearce was on The BuZZ earlier this year, talking about Object Matrix - a RAID of RAIDs, which provides both speed and security for editing projects -- though at a pretty steep price. He joins us again this week to bring us up-to-date on their latest NAB announcements.
Charles Little - World Hip-Hop Championship
Executive Producer and Director Charles Little joins us this week to talk about his new project for MTV2: the “World Hip Hop Championship.” There’s a million dollar prize at stake! Shot on XDCAM, P2, and RED, with less than two weeks between shoot and air, the pressures to get this right were enormous. The first show airs May 17th.
