What's the BuZZ?

Seth Kenvin - CEO, Market 7

We first spoke with the folks at Market 7 in January of this year. They make web-based software that aids the production process. Specifically designed for collaboration, Market 7 offers the ability to assemble teams, define projects, develop content, securely share files, and communicate clearly. Their software modules are organized by project stages: pre-production, production, and post-production. Recently, they announced their first-ever client -- Google. That's a great way to start! We touch base with Seth Kenvin, Market 7 CEO, to learn more.

Jessica Sitomer, CEO, The Greenlight Coach

Jessica Sitomer gets people jobs. She has worked in the entertainment industry for eighteen years as a writer, an independent producer, and an actress. For 12 of those years she was a career coach for entertainment industry professionals. She started her own company, The Greenlight Coach, and we are delighted to welcome her back this week as we talk to her about the job skills we need in today's environment.

GV Expo BuZZ - Leonard Sipes, Senior Public Affairs Specialist, Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency

Leonard Sipes is the Senior Public Affairs Specialist for Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency in Washington D.C. He is one of the keynote speakers for the upcoming GV Expo and we’ve asked him for a sneak preview! And the very first question we are going to ask is "What does someone who works for Court Services and Offender Supervision have to say to a GV Expo audience?"

Stavros Hilaris - Chief Technology Officer, National Geographic

Stavros Hilaris is a Digital Media and Communications Executive. As the Chief Technology Officer for National Geographic Global Media in Washington D.C (www.nationalgeographic.com) he is currently spearheading several major initiatives, including a transition from a videotape based to a digital file based environment, which involves Media Asset Management and centralized ingest, transcode and storage. Additionally, his software development team has created a next generation Content Management System for rapid publishing of web content. We talk with him this week about what he's doing and what he's learned.
