What's the BuZZ?

Graeme Nattress - President, Nattress Productions, Inc.

He started out as a high school math teacher. Then, he decided to found his own company to research innovative ways of working with images and video. He's gone on to develop world-class plug-ins for Final Cut Pro, Motion, and Color. Oh, and he's also been one of the leading developers of the incredible imaging technology of the RED camera. His name is Graeme Nattress, president of Nattress Productions Inc., and we are delighted he is joining us this week.

Yvonne Russo, Producer, National Geographic

Yvonne Russo travels the world producing two television series for the National Geographic. (Talk about a dream job.) This week, she describes how she got the gig - which was recently funded for a second season - and what it take to be a successful producer. It is fun to listen to someone who is truly enthusiastic for her work.

Ken Miller - Executive Producer, My Media Entertainment

For over 20 years, Ken Miller was an editor and producer for Spelling Entertainment. He produced shows like "90210", "Love Boat," "Charmed," and dozens more. Now, he's the executive producer of his own company - My Media Entertainment. This week, we talk with Ken about how his experience as an editor informed his decisions as a producer, the challenges of producing weekly, episodic network TV, and how the demise of film and the shift to tapeless media is changing the face of television. Ken also shares some fascinating insights on how the industry will be making money in the future.

Philip Hodgetts - President, Intelligent Assistance

This week's segment with Philip Hodgetts, president of Intelligent Assistance Inc., grew out of a conversation during last week's show in our Live Chat. If you haven't joined in our Live Chat, its a great way to ask questions of our guests during the show. Anyway, the issue of the relevance of Flash going forward was raised so we thought we'd invite Philip back to talk about one of Mike Horton's favorite subjects: codecs.
