Harris Done is a Director of Photography (DP) who worked on “A Timeless Call,” a tribute to our veterans directed by Steven Spielberg and hosted by Tom Hanks. He made his feature documentary directing debut on “War Dogs of the Pacific,” about the Marine dog handlers of WWII. Jeta Amata - Filmmaker
Jeta Amata is one of the most respected filmmakers in Nollywood -- the Nigerian equivalent of Hollywood. He directed and produced a 35mm film in Nigeria starring Nick Moran (”Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels”) that screened around the world including Cannes and was one of the first Nollywood films to be shown on Virgin Airlines. He is currently in post on his two latest films, including one with Billy Zane. Both were shot in Nigeria using RED cameras using U.S. crews.
Philip Hodgetts - CEO, Intelligent Assistance
Philip Hodgetts, CEO of Intelligent Assistance, has just released a new software program called: "Matchback Magic." What this does is add matchback information to Final Cut Pro media files to make them very robust through many postproduction workflows. This vastly simplifies a final conform back to high-res media. This is brand new stuff and Philip joins us this week to describe what it does.
