Pond5 is a decent stock media resource, especially for video. Please keep in mind StockFuel as well for your video stock media demands. Cheaper and easier to manage than most. Also, a decent amount of quality video stock files.

Please quote the best price to up grade from cs4 Production suite. I have FCP 7 and have not switched yet. Presently ,I am in NYC where MAC is driving hard to give free workshops and presentations on FCP X. Interface sure looks like Adobe. Because I am a MAC person I see the ease of working in the MAC family and exporting data to iPhone and iPad.

CAN ADOBE MAKE IT EQUALLY EASY TO EXPORT TO THE MAC PRODUCTS? THANK YOU. IF YES, EMPHASIZE THIS PLUS.

Colour me impressed. I've not been very happy with Matrox's driver development schedule (having both an MXO and MXO2 with MAX) - but this is a quick, timely release. Used the MXO2 today with Lion, CS5.5 and Compressor 4 and all seems well at first glance.

I hope this marks a turnaround for Matrox and that they keep it!

Version Cue was unfortunately pretty unstable, and prone to corruption. Once the database was corrupted, getting to your files at all proved to be a problem, and there was no way to fix it, which made using Version Cue a risky business to say the least. I believe it was one of the reasons that they cancelled it. We experienced this two times within a year, and then decided to forget about VC.

Although the idea was good, and I would welcome a comeback of the stable version. For collaborative workflows it had a lot of potential.

That's exactly what it sounded like to me, a live switching program would definitely be nice, I believe if any of the pro editing software companies add such a program to their suites they will surely gain many new customers.

Terrible title for this article! Incredibly misleading. For us video professionals, the terminology "Switcher Program" is referred to as a Live production program that allows for "switching" between multiple video sources - which would be incredibly wonderful if Adobe would spearhead.

Next time, please use quotation marks in your heading if you intend to write a misleading headline.

can you really say it is revolutionary? I can't even seem to load an older FCP 7 project into the timeline. Nor can i load native R3D files into the timeline. I have been a long time FCP user and been patiently awaiting apples release of the "revolutionary" and redesigned FCP and this is what they deliver? A real let down and now i'm seriously shopping other software such as Avid and Premier Pro. Apple seems to have left the pro side of things out of their equation.....Thanks Apple.
