Adobe Prelude CS6 Training Announced by Larry Jordan

Oak Park, CA (PRWEB) May 29, 2012

Larry Jordan, known world-wide for his in-depth Apple Final Cut Pro training, is now the first to offer a complete training for the brand-new Adobe Prelude CS6 software – the ideal program for ingesting, reviewing, and selecting video footage.

The new release of Adobe Creative Suite 6 software features major innovations and powerful new releases of fourteen applications, including the new Adobe Prelude CS6.

“Adobe Prelude CS6 is designed for tapeless media,” said Larry Jordan. “Whether you are working alone, or as part of a group, Adobe Prelude speeds the process of media review, ingest, logging, and sending files to your editing system. And our latest training shows you how to make this new program fly!”

Adobe Prelude CS6 provides the muscle for a member of the production team to use it for logging and selecting specific clips, without requiring the use of dedicated editing software or tying up an expensive edit suite. Then, when done, instantly send the selected files to Adobe Premiere Pro CS6, or Apple Final Cut Pro 7.

“Larry Jordan has provided informative training for Adobe products, and it is great to see the addition of Adobe Prelude to his mix of dedicated training courses for production professionals,” said Bill Roberts, director of professional video and audio product management, Adobe Systems Incorporated. “With the latest version of Adobe CS6 and the inclusion of Adobe Prelude, professionals will be able to take full advantage of the new features faster and utilize all that Adobe Prelude CS6 has to offer like never before.”

The training consists of 30 QuickTime movies in HD, containing more than three hours of step-by-step video training. Available immediately as a download, and within a week as a DVD, the training has a retail price of $49.

Larry Jordan’s Adobe Prelude CS6 training joins his Adobe Audition CS6 training already available in his store and subscription service.

Adobe PreludeCS6 software streamlines every production task. Users can ingest almost any file-based format and begin logging immediately, creating searchable markers and other temporal metadata that flow through post-production, then share the results with the rest of the editing team. Adobe Prelude is included in Adobe’s Production Premium, Master Collection and Creative Cloud.

Larry Jordan Announces Closed Captioning Added to Final Cut Pro X Training

Oak Park, California (PRWEB) May 14, 2012

Two titles in Larry Jordan’s Final Cut Pro X training are now closed captioned, Larry Jordan, internationally renowned Apple trainer, announced today. He took the unusual step of making his NLE training closed captioned after a seminar he taught at Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C., the world leader in liberal education and career development for deaf and hard of hearing students.

“Both hearing and non-hearing students attended my Final Cut Pro X seminar at Gallaudet last autumn so we arranged to have sign language interpreters,” said Larry Jordan. “Those interpreters were provided by Mandy David’s wonderful, Florida based company, JFD Communications, LLC. From her I learned that closed captioning would improve accessibility not only to the deaf and hard-of-hearing, but to individuals who do not speak English as a first language. So, I asked Mandy to take on the challenge of closed captioning my training.”

The challenge was significant, more than 90 individual video files, containing more than 11 hours of in-depth, technical training which required detailed transcription and careful placement of closed captions so that the text would not block key features of the software.

“Taking on a captioning project this large takes commitment,” said Mandy David, President of JFD Communications. “I’m proud of my captioning team for the attention to detail on this challenging project. We are delighted to see Larry Jordan add Closed Captions to his training series. It is exciting to think about all the people who will now have access to learn Final Cut Pro X from such an innovative trainer.”

“Closed captioning Larry’s Final Cut training took five months, and more than 20 people to create,” said Laura Peters, Marketing Director for Larry Jordan & Associates, Inc. “We are so pleased with the result. The increased access closed captioning offers to our global community means that people from around the world can benefit from learning this new software”

Titles available with closed captioning include:

Final Cut Pro X – Workflow & Editing

Final Cut Pro X – New Features (10.0.3)

The milestone, Adobe Creative Suite 6 release features major innovations and powerful new releases of fourteen Creative Suite applications, including Audition CS6.

“I’ve been fascinated with audio since I started in radio as a teenager,” said Larry Jordan. “I decided to focus this training on video editors looking to improve the sound of their projects. Whether you are editing using Adobe Premiere Pro, Apple Final Cut, or Avid Media Composer, you can still do your final mix in a high-performance audio tool like Adobe Audition CS6. The ability to create training for this software was just irresistible.”

“Larry is an informative, entertaining instructor with an amazing depth of knowledge about all things audio,” said Bill Roberts, director of professional video and audio product management, Adobe Systems Incorporated. “Now professionals can learn from him how to edit smarter and take full advantage of all the incredible advances in Audition CS6.”

The training consists of more than 60 QuickTime movies in HD, containing more than 5 hours of step-by-step video training. Available immediately as a download, and within a week as a DVD, the training has a retail price of $79.
