Warning: Final Cut Pro Jobs Sent to Compressor May Not Process

Oct 28th, 2009

When you export sequences from Final Cut Pro using Compressor by choosing File > Send To > Compressor, or File > Share, the job may not process.
This may occur if you have a Virtual Cluster enabled to take advantage of multiple cores on one or more computers in your cluster.

To work with a Virtual Cluster, export your sequences as QuickTime reference movies from Final Cut Pro and process them in Compressor. For more information about Virtual Clusters, see the Distributed Processing Setup Guide here.
