DVD Studio Pro Updated to 4.0.3

Although Apple CEO Steve Jobs stood on stage with the recently departed head of Sony and pledged support for Blu-ray, so far Apple’s Professional DVD Authoring tool has only supported HD DVD,

To be fair, Blu-ray aren’t far enough along with their spec to do build authoring tools and a more complex specification to support.

For now, DVD Studio Pro 4.0.3 updates compliance to the 1.0 HD DVD Video standard content specification on both OS X 10.3 and 10.4. Users with DVD Studio Pro 4.0 or later need to install this update to ensure their projects are compliant with the 1.0 HD DVD Video standard content specification.

Available now in Software Update. We recommend download and installing when using Software Update for the most consistent resuls.
