Issue 1: Final Cut Studio: Unexpected behavior with more than one graphics card.

Resoution: Although it is possible to add more than one graphics card and three or more displays to a Mac Pro configuration, this is not a recommended configuration for a Final Cut Studio workstation.

Issue 2: Final Cut Pro 6: FxPlug rendering issues on earlier graphics cards.

Resolution: In some cases you can work around these issues by taking one or more of the following steps:

  • Reduce render bit depth to 8-bit YUV in Sequence > Settings > Video Processing.
  • Use a lower resolution for your project.
  • If applicable, replace your graphics card with one that has more VRAM.
