Adobe Prelude CS6 Training Announced by Larry Jordan

Oak Park, CA (PRWEB) May 29, 2012

Larry Jordan, known world-wide for his in-depth Apple Final Cut Pro training, is now the first to offer a complete training for the brand-new Adobe Prelude CS6 software – the ideal program for ingesting, reviewing, and selecting video footage.

The new release of Adobe Creative Suite 6 software features major innovations and powerful new releases of fourteen applications, including the new Adobe Prelude CS6.

“Adobe Prelude CS6 is designed for tapeless media,” said Larry Jordan. “Whether you are working alone, or as part of a group, Adobe Prelude speeds the process of media review, ingest, logging, and sending files to your editing system. And our latest training shows you how to make this new program fly!”

Adobe Prelude CS6 provides the muscle for a member of the production team to use it for logging and selecting specific clips, without requiring the use of dedicated editing software or tying up an expensive edit suite. Then, when done, instantly send the selected files to Adobe Premiere Pro CS6, or Apple Final Cut Pro 7.

“Larry Jordan has provided informative training for Adobe products, and it is great to see the addition of Adobe Prelude to his mix of dedicated training courses for production professionals,” said Bill Roberts, director of professional video and audio product management, Adobe Systems Incorporated. “With the latest version of Adobe CS6 and the inclusion of Adobe Prelude, professionals will be able to take full advantage of the new features faster and utilize all that Adobe Prelude CS6 has to offer like never before.”

The training consists of 30 QuickTime movies in HD, containing more than three hours of step-by-step video training. Available immediately as a download, and within a week as a DVD, the training has a retail price of $49.

Larry Jordan’s Adobe Prelude CS6 training joins his Adobe Audition CS6 training already available in his store and subscription service.

Adobe PreludeCS6 software streamlines every production task. Users can ingest almost any file-based format and begin logging immediately, creating searchable markers and other temporal metadata that flow through post-production, then share the results with the rest of the editing team. Adobe Prelude is included in Adobe’s Production Premium, Master Collection and Creative Cloud.

New 3.2″ Z-Finder Frame

This frame from Zacuto is for use small bodies DSLR’s with 3.2” screens such as the Canon 5D MIII and Nikon D800. This frame will not work if you are using a battery grip with your camera. For that you will need a battery grip frame for 3.2″ screens which we are still working on. We are also working on the 3.2″ frame for Tall Bodied Cameras and a 3.2″ Adhesive Frame.

The Z-Finder Aircraft Aluminum Frame must be used in conjunction with the Gorilla plate. The Z-Finder frame attaches to the Gorilla plate with two thumb screws; the Gorilla plate is attached to the bottom of your camera. The frame has a rubber coating on the end which stays against the LCD screen with pressure. The connection between the Z-Finder and frame is a snap fit. The Z-Finder snaps into the frame and can quickly snap off for going between video and photos. To release the frame from your camera, you must un-do the thumb screws and slide the frame off.
