Armen Kevorkian, Visual Effects Supervisor, Encore VFX, Hollywood

Visual Effects Supervisor, Armen Kevorkian, works at Encore VFX in Hollywood where he supervises VFX on “Homeland” and “Ray Donovan.” The company recently received an Emmy for “Supporting Special Visual Effects” on the Cinemax show, “Banshee.” He joins us this week to tell us about his work.

Ryan Neil Postas, Filmmaker, Elevated Minds Entertainment

Los Angeles-based filmmaker, Ryan Postas, works as a cinematographer and director — frequently with music videos. He recently shot a project using RED’s Dragon and we’re interested in his reaction to the new camera.

Ben Consoli, Director, Editor and Owner, BC Media Productions

Ben Consoli, Director/Editor/Owner of BC Media Productions, is a 10-year veteran of the commercial arena, a successful podcast host and a power FCP X user. He stops by to share his thoughts on creating commercials and provide his take on the current upheaval in editing software.

Jon Schellenger, President, Cinematic Motion Pictures

Jon Schellenger, President of Florida-based Cinematic Motion Pictures, works on local and national TV commercials, corporate videos and now independent features. His current project is “Hollow Creek,” from director Giusela Moro. He joins us this week to tell us more about it.
