    • Andy Liebman talks about EditShare’s new timeline editor – Flow Story that can stream, do multilayer timeline editing, mix high resolution local content with low resolution archived content. Flow Story’s new features include an auditing system, all records of each file. EditShare has also decoupled Flow Media asset management from its storage. He also discusses EditShare’s new automated quality control product line, including QScan One, QScan Max, QScan Pro.

    • Dave Clack presents CAT DV’s integration into Google AI, having image identification abilities. Also, a new feature that can integrate into an Adobe panel in Illustrator, Photoshop, and Affect Effects, even Telestream’s Vantage. Other features are the accelerated file upload and download speeds, and calibrated player for Sony’s DSC-P2 Sony Camera.
  • Bjorn Kolbeck, Co Founder and CEO, Quobyte
    • Bjorn Kolbeck explains what Quobyte File System is and it’s newest features targeted towards media and entertainment. One new feature prefetches frames for 4K raw DPX playback. Additionally, Quobyte servers can support up to three 4K workflows.

    • Maxim Jago shares his opinions on the battle between marketing, and training, and the need for increased staff training. He also talks about the latest improves in AI technology, along with an amazing new 8K projector from Sony.

    • Philip Hodgetts comments on Apple’s new codec – ProRes Raw. He also discusses Lumberjack System’s new product Lumberjack Builder, which focuses on transcription, with additional features including keyword narration and emotion extraction, all contributing to the ability to edit video by editing the transcript.

    • Ginny Grove discusses Vinten’s robotic cameras that are controlled with a joystick panel. She also introduces new products including, Floor Track – Robotic pedestals on a track, and Ceiling Track, which can integrate with an HDVRC system.

    • Morgan Angove talks about the new version of the Firefly suite – V7, with upgrades to support new cameras and new formats. He also promotes FireFly’s new FireVision, which is software that allows videos shot on-set to be converter into a lighter format and pushed onto the web, and FirePost – a color grading software.

    • Steven Manios highlights Manios Digital and Film’s new lines, including a partnership with Hawk-Woods, a UK-based battery company that produce one of the smallest and lightest batteries. He also talks about new tripods from CARTONI.
  • Tobias Keuthen and Luke ThomasDirector, Global Product Marketing Management (Sachtler), Freelance Camera Operator (Sachtler Ambassador), Vitec Production Solutions (A division of Vitec Group)
    • Tobias Keuthen and Luke Thomas showcase a new joint-project between Sachtler and Vinten’s – the Flowtech tripod with a 75mm ball support. The tripod has efficient locking mechanisms, is lightweight, durable, extremely fast to setup and allows users to use any fluid head.

    • John Hickey explains what KVM technology does and Black Box’s next generation Emerald KVM Platform, which has virtualization capabilities. Additionally, Emerald also provides a web-based management system called Boxzilla.
  • John Payne IV, President, IMT Vislink
    • John Payne IV shares about IMT Vislink’s wireless camera products that can deliver live camera feeds just about anywhere low latency IP. He also talks about IMT Vislink’s products are used in creating live news feeds and integration in the newsroom.

    • Dave Walton talks about JVC’s latest connected camera that has wifi and bonded cellphone connectivity capabilities. He also discusses video over IP, how the camera compresses video to IP, and transmits the video. JVC has also upgraded the HM200 Camera by including graphics titles as well as a larger sensor.

    • Stefan Lederer shares Bitmovin’s newest compression and distribution software infrastructure which makes it easier to encode complex scenes, lowering the bandwidth without affecting video’s the quality for channels and broadcasters.
  • Michael PaceBusiness Development Head, Contour Design, Inc.
    • Michael Pace promotes Contour Design’s productivity device – The Shuttle, which has timeline shuttle control, keyboard shortcuts (which can be personalized), and improves workflow not just for video editing. He also talks about Contour Design’s Unimouse, which is a mouse that allows for custom sizing to fit the shape of your hand with its adjustable hinge and thumb support.

    • Tod Musgrave discusses Marshall Electronic’s RCP unit to adjust colors remotely using an XLR connection. Marshall Electronics is also introducing a new line of IP Cameras, including some 4K and UHD camera that have a variety of frame rate capabilities.

    • Paul Tapper talks about NUGEN Audio’s Loudness Tool Kit, which includes 3 plugins that can adjust for loudness during the mix, or in a batch afterwards. Other new tools include: Halo Upmix to mix from stereo sound to surround sound, and Halo Downmix which changes surround sound to stereo.
  • James McKenna, VP Marketing & Pre-Sales Engineering, Facilis
    • James McKenna presents Facilis’ hardware offering an improved shared storage and file management environment. He also introduces their 8D drive that has the ability to integrate with panels in Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • James DeRuvo, Editor-in-Chief, DoddleNews
    • James DeRuvo talks about his journey throughout the NAB Show, including RED, Facebook, Google, and Vimeo’s new cylindrical shaped camera – Mevo. He also covered EVA, Lumberjack Systems, CoreMelt, as well as talking about companies that are not at NAB.

    • Scott Murray discusses Telestream Cloud, which offers access to both the public Cloud, or the ability to create a private cloud, solving privacy and bandwidth issues. He also mentions that Vantage now offers transcoding, workflow capabilities, and access to The Cloud.   • Christopher Spahr, VP of Sales and Marketing, USA, DPA Microphones
    • Christopher Spahr discusses DPA Microphones’ miniature microphones, lavaliers, and Dedicate, a recording-studio style microphone. DPA has also reengineered their A/D converter – Core – to reduce noise and distortion.
