Tiger Technology’s Bob Vassar talks about their shared file storage system. He goes into depth about how they can move projects seamlessly between collaborators and how storage can be pulled into a production at will. He also describes a starter storage system starting at 64 terabytes.
In their 30th anniversary, Andrew Donahue from Killer Tracks talks about how they’ve developed a great relationship with Youtube to help users avoid copyright issues when dealing with music uploaded in videos. He talks about their extension panel that was released last year for Adobe Premiere Pro and how they now have made enhancements that adds automatic cue sheet generation for video projects. He also announces their music label: “Abby Road Masters” which has original music with each track.
Randy Reck from MTI Film describes how Cortex is used in DIT work, while DRS Nova is a staple software tool for file restoration. He also announces a new version of Cortex titled: “Cortex QC” and how it enables producers to find problems in their media before submitting it to distribution.
