Shows Leading Up to GV Expo

Leonard Sipes is the senior public affairs specialist with the Washington, DC, Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency (media.CSOSA.gov). He has been actively involved in using radio, TV, podcasts, and social media to put a human face on a government agency. He is also the first criminologist we’ve had on The BuZZ. This week, we talk with him to learn the benefits of using social media for government agencies, how CSOSC is using it, and what others need to know before they start.

Greg Pine, vice-president of sales for Telairity, explains that the reason there’s a delay when switching from the studio to the remote is not due to the remote location being asleep, but the time it takes to compress a real-time video signal.
